Children's Ministries...

We offer nursery on Sunday mornings during the Sunday School hour (9:30AM) for birth through Pre-K, as well as Sunday School classes for all age groups.

During the Sunday morning worship hour (10:45AM) we offer a nursery for birth through Pre-K, as well as KidsView, a ministry for children K-4th. We also offer nursery for birth through Pre-K on Wednesday nights.

KidsView and Nursery are in the Educational Complex, the building connected to the Sanctuary Complex by a covered walkway. Look for the KidsView sign. Guest Services volunteers will be there to help guide you to the right place.

All workers have been carefully screened and passed a thorough background check. Your children's safety is important to us.

What we believe...

We support the Baptist Faith & Message, a collection of articles expressing what we believe about the Bible, the family, the church, and many other issues important to our faith. Click here to learn more...

What kind of church we are...

Pleasant View First Baptist is a community of believers serving as a part of the Southern Baptist Convention. We work together with over 50,000 churches across the country and the world to spread the good news of Christ.

How to get here...

PVFBC is located at 2555 Hwy 49 E, across the street from H.G. Hills grocery store on Highway 49 in Pleasant View, TN, near downtown.

We're not far from I-24, off exit 24. Turn left if coming from Nashville, right if coming from Clarksville.

Taking up an offering...

During the worship hour on Sunday mornings, we take up an offering, just before the message. It's for church members and regular attenders that feel led to help support the church's ministries. We don't expect guests to put anything in the offering plates we pass around, except maybe a guest card (and only if you're ready).

What to wear...

The atmosphere at PVFBC is relaxed and open. Most folks dress casually, even the pastor. The ladies wear pants and dresses. Many wear jeans. Wear what you feel comfortable in.

Where to park...

Our parking lot is accessed from Church Street, across from Pleasant View Elementary School.

Coming from I-24 on Highway 49, bear right onto Church Street at Champion Car Wash. Coming from Ashland City on Highway 49, turn left into our driveway that leads under the awning, just past Balthrop Park (you'll see three crosses in a field).

Guest Parking spots are reserved near the main entrance, but you can park anywhere you like.

How we treat guests...

We understand coming to a new church can be intimidating. We never ask guests to stand or single them out in any way. First time guests are encouraged to fill out an information card but are allowed to remain anonymous if they choose.

We only contact guests who give us permission (there's a place on the Guest Card for that), and we never visit without calling first.

Where to go...

When you arrive, look for the sign that says, "GUEST ENTRANCE." It leads into the main foyer, where the sanctuary is just to the left. There you'll find guest services volunteers ready to help answer any questions.

Why we're here...

We are here to lead people on the journey to authentic faith by loving God, loving people, sharing Jesus, and growing in grace together.

The service length...

Sunday morning worship begins promptly at 10:45AM and almost always ends very close to 11:45AM. Starting and ending on time are important to us.

We look forward to having you join us on the journey!
