We offer nursery on Sunday mornings during the Sunday School hour (9:30AM)
During the Sunday morning worship hour (10:45AM) we offer a nursery for birth through Pre-K, as well as KidsView, a ministry for
KidsView and Nursery are in the Educational Complex, the building connected to the Sanctuary Complex by a covered walkway. Look for the KidsView sign. Guest Services volunteers will be there to help guide you to the right place.
All workers have been carefully screened and passed a thorough background check. Your children's safety is important to us.
When you arrive, look for the sign that says, "GUEST ENTRANCE." It leads into the main foyer, where the sanctuary is just to the left. There you'll find guest services volunteers ready to help answer any questions.
Sunday morning worship begins promptly at 10:45AM and almost always ends very close to 11:45AM. Starting and ending on time are important to us.
Our parking lot is accessed from Church Street, across from Pleasant View Elementary School.
Coming from I-24 on Highway 49, bear right onto Church Street at Champion Car Wash. Coming from Ashland City on Highway 49, turn left into our driveway that leads under the awning, just past Balthrop Park (you'll see three crosses in a field).
Guest Parking spots are reserved near the main entrance, but you can park anywhere you like.
Pleasant View First Baptist is a community of believers serving as a part of the Southern Baptist Convention. We work together with over 50,000 churches across the country and the world to spread the good news of Christ.
We are here to lead people on the journey to authentic faith by loving God, loving people, sharing Jesus, and growing in grace together.
The atmosphere at PVFBC is relaxed and open. Most folks dress casually, even the pastor. The ladies wear pants and dresses. Many wear jeans. Wear what you feel comfortable in.
PVFBC is located at 2555 Hwy 49 E, across the street from H.G. Hills grocery store on Highway 49 in Pleasant View, TN, near downtown.
We're not far from I-24, off exit 24. Turn left if coming from Nashville, right if coming from Clarksville.
During the worship hour on Sunday mornings, we take up an offering, just before the message. It's for church members and regular attenders that feel led to help support the church's ministries. We don't expect guests to put anything in the offering plates we pass around, except maybe a guest card (and only if you're ready).
We understand coming to a new church can be intimidating. We never ask guests to stand or single them out in any way. First time guests are encouraged to fill out an information card but are allowed to remain anonymous if they choose.
We only contact guests who give us permission (there's a place on the Guest Card for that), and we never visit without calling first.
